History

Quality Refrigeration was formed in 1963 when R. L. Quarles received his refrigeration contractor's license after his completion of active duty, military service.  In the early years the company was involved in industrial and commerical sales and service.  Super market equipment, walk in refrigerators service and self service refrigeration cases.  This evolved into ice machines both cubers and flakers of all sizes.  In the 1980's Quality began to sell and service soft serve ice cream equipment including batch freezers, custard, yogurt and self serve.  One of the oldest licensed contractors in Kansas City always able to service all major manufacturers.
